Dynamic Watercolors

Rosario in his own words:

I am working on a new style of painting that I’ve had in mind for years.
Being an Architect my whole career has been a drawback for me in painting.
This is so because of my training in engineering and detail.
It’s always been difficult for me to loosen up and remember that I don’t have to build the thing.
Any way I’m having fun with this and it doesn’t take long to complete a painting.
It’s amazing how it go’s against my grain but I fight it.

I am developing a new style of painting with strong color value and loose detail of the subject.
My intention is to convey a personal impression and style to the observer. At the same time
I want the observer to interpret and complete the image in their own personal way.

For example, “Dynamic Painting” would fall into a category somewhere between Impressionism and Fauvism.
